Literati membership terms

1. Who we are
Literati membership is run by Ever After Books Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15169491. Registered office: 144 Market Street, Dalton-in-Furness, England, LA15 8RQ. You can reach us through the contact page.
2. The memberships and prices

Prices include any VAT. You need an Ever After account to join. A membership belongs to that account and cannot be transferred or shared.
3. Payment and renewal
You pay at the start of each month or year. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If we ever change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your Literati page by choosing Manage membership. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your perks carry on until the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee.
5. Changing your mind
If you change your mind within 14 days of first joining, or within 14 days of an annual renewal, contact us and we will refund that payment in full. Your membership then ends, and any membership LitCoins you have not spent are removed from your wallet.
6. Free delivery
- Applies to orders placed at everafterbooks.uk while your membership is active, with no minimum spend.
- The Literati (UK) covers delivery to UK addresses. Literati International covers delivery to any country we deliver to.
- It is added at checkout automatically when you are signed in with your Ever After account. You can also enter your member code, shown on your Literati page.
- It is for your own orders. We may withdraw it if a member code is shared publicly or used for resale.
7. LitCoins
- 100 LitCoins are added to your Ever After wallet at the start of each paid month of membership. Annual members receive them month by month, not all at once.
- 1 LitCoin is worth £0.01 to spend at Ever After Books, Ever After Games and LitFic.
- LitCoins have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. LitCoins already in your wallet stay there if you cancel.
8. Membership card
Annual members are posted a Literati membership card after joining, to the billing address given at checkout. If yours goes astray, contact us and we will send another.
9. Member treats
From time to time we post a treat from the shop to every active member, such as a book, a second-hand find, bookish gear or an advance reading copy. Treats are a thank-you rather than part of what you pay for, so there is no set schedule and what we send varies. We always email you before one is posted. Advance reading copies are not for resale.
10. Changes to the membership
We may change the membership perks. If a change is not in your favour we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect; you can cancel before then and we will refund the unused part of an annual membership.
11. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in them affects your legal rights as a consumer.
